Adventure is out there!!.... well actually the real adventure was in the car ride down there ;)

hey y'all! hope everyone had a wonderful memorial day weekend remembering those who sacrificed their lives to give us this sweet freedom we so enjoy! thank you to all the men and women, in all branches of the military, we thank you and pray for your safety daily <3 <3 <3

this weekend was full of cookouts, family, and of course, flea markets!! it's been a few days since I got back from the great state of Kentucky. this adventure included my sweet mom and crazy fun sister. friday was our adventure day, excited and determined, I set out to find some hidden treasures for the store. I ran across this awesome treasure chest styled trunk

i mean, could you not live with out this??? adorable, i know ^_^ i plan on doing something too it, maybe a table or..... or just something. :)

all i know is that i am extremely excited to get started!

this chair from the early 1800's was given to me by a sweet friend. she did some work to it, but i finished the rest i am pretty proud on how it turned out :) :)

my sister obviously had other things on her mind... like fudge... which is her weakness ........

looking forward to the next adventure and the next piece of hidden treasure that is waiting for me out there! who knows what next vintage treasure i will find out there this next time around!
